Let's see how to make creamy Mango Shrikhand/Amrakhand at home.

Pour 400 gm of Curd on a thin cloth over a strainer placed over a bowl.

Press & Squeeze out excess water.

Keep heavy weight over the cloth and refrigerate for 4 hours.

The hung curd is ready now.

Beat till creamy consistency

Add 1 tbsp Saffron Milk.(1/2 tsp saffron soaked in warm boiled milk)

Beat till creamy consistency.

Chop 4 Mangoes and grind them till paste like consistency.

Add to the bowl and mix well with curd.

Add 2 tbsp Powdered Sugar.

Refrigerate mixture for 3-4 hours.

Pour in a mud bowl to serve it traditionally.

Garnish with chopped nuts, dried rose petals & saffron.
