  • 12-15 mint leaves
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp black salt
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

Instructions

  • Take 3 Raw Green Mangoes and wash them properly. The Mangoes should not be smaller in size. Take slightly larger mangoes. It would be great if the Mangoes had the seeds inside.
  • Take a pressure cooker. Add the mangoes to the pressure cooker and add 1 cup of water. Close the lid of the cooker and Cook until 3 whistles on medium flame.
  • Let the pressure in the cooker go away and the cooker cool down before opening the lid. Take out the Mangoes on a plate. Let the mangoes cool and then peel the layers.
  • Take a grinding jar. Cut the mangoes into small pieces and add them to the grinding jar.
  • Add 12-15 mint leaves, 1/2 inch ginger, 2 green chilli, 1/2 lemon juice, and 1 tbsp black salt to the jar.
  • Add 1 cup of water to the grinding jar and blend it with the spices. A fine paste would be ready.
  • Add 2 more glasses of water(Add chilled water if you need to serve it quickly) and blend it until the desired consistency is achieved. You can now refrigerate it for 2 hours.
  • Add 1/2 roasted cumin powder(Dry roast cumin powder in a pan) and 2 ice cubes to a glass. You can add black salt as per taste.
  • Pour the chilled Aam Panna into the glass.
