Almond Milkshake or Badam Shake Recipe

Almond milkshake, or badam milkshake is a very healthy and delicious drink made with almonds, milk and dry fruits.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup Almond soaked overnight
  • 1/2 cup milk for paste
  • 6 cup milk for boiling
  • 1/4 tsp saffron
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 6 tbsp brown sugar
  • Ice cubes optional
  • Pistachios and Almonds for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Take 1/4 cup of peeled almonds(soaked overnight for 5 hours).
  • Add 1/2 cup milk and almonds in a grinding jar. Grind it until you get the desired consistency. Keep the almond paste aside.
  • Boil 6 cups of milk into a kadai/wok at high flame
  • Add saffron, cardamom powder. Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes on medium flame.
  • Stir in between, scrap the malai(cream) formed on the sides.
  • Add Almond paste and cook for 8-10 minutes on low to medium flame.
  • Add brown sugar. Stir in between. Cook for 4-5 minutes on low to medium flame. Turn off the flame once you get the desired consistency.
  • Let it cool and then refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
  • Pour in a glass, add ice cubes and garnish with pistachios and almonds. Enjoy
