Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup Refined Flour
  • ¼ tsp Yeast
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • Lukewarm water for the dough
  • 2 tsp refined oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Take a mixing bowl. Add 1.5 cups of Refined Flour(Maida), ¼ tsp of Yeast, ½ tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt. Mix everything well.
  • Now, gradually add lukewarm water to prepare a soft dough. Don’t use normal water or cold water.
  • Once the dough is ready, add 1 tsp refined oil and mix it well with the dough.
  • Tuck the dough to give it a round shape and keep it in the bowl. Grease it with 2-3 drops of oil. Use a cling film to wrap around the bowl to let the dough ferment. Keep it aside for 1-2 hours.
  • Take 2 tbsp of butter in a small bowl. Add ½ tsp Red chilli flakes, and 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves.
  • Mix everything well. Keep it aside.
  • After 1 hour, check the dough. Punch and knead it for 1 minute. Now, we will prepare balls out of it. You can keep the size of the balls as per your preference. I’m making medium-size Bread so the balls are medium size.
  • Before rolling it, take dry flour on a plate and coat the dough ball in it.
  • Roll the balls just like making a Roti using a rolling pin and board. Don’t roll it thin. It should be thick as shown below. Keep the size as per your preference.
  • Heat a Pan on medium flame. Put the rolled bread in the Pan and cook it.
  • Keep flipping and press gently to cook both sides evenly.
  • Now, grease the bread with the butter mixture.
  • Serve with any Paneer gravy. Enjoy the delicious Turkish Bread.
