Cardamom Tea Recipe

The Cardamom Tea or Elaichi chai is a very famous and popular Tea Recipe that is made using milk, tea leaves, cardamom, and sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tbsp Tea Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Whole Green Cardamom

Instructions
 

  • Take a small tea pan. Add 1.5 cups of full-fat milk.
  • Also, add ½ cup of water to the pan.
  • Put the pan on the gas and turn on the flame. Add 1 tbsp of tea leaves.
  • Add 2 tbsp of Sugar. You can skip sugar and add any sweetener you prefer.
  • Take 3 whole Green Cardamom and add to a mortar.
  • Now, crush it gently with a Pestle. You can also add ½ tsp Green Cardamom powder if you don’t have the whole cardamom.
  • Add the powder to the pan and mix with a spoon. Green Cardamom gives the tea an aromatic flavor.
  • Let it cook until a boil.
  • After a boil comes, turn the flame to low to medium and let the tea cook for 5 minutes.
  • The tea has been cooked and is of a nice color. Turn off the flame.
  • Strain into a normal teacup or in a Kulhad.
  • Serve with Cookies, Rusk and Namkeen.
  • Enjoy the cardamom tea.
