To make the dates ladoo, first heat 1 tbsp of Desi Ghee in a Pan.
As soon as the Ghee gets heated, we will add 1 cup of Makhana(Fox nuts) to the Pan, and roast until they become crisp. Keep them aside.
Now, add 1 more tbsp of Desi Ghee to the Pan, and add 1/4 cup of finely chopped Almonds. We will roast them on a low flame for a minute or two.
Next, add 1/4 cup of finely chopped Cashews. Roast them for a few seconds. Keep in mind that Cashews take very little time to roast, so keep the flame to low or else they will burn.
Add 1 tbsp of Sunflower seeds and 1 tbsp of Pumpkin seeds. Roast and mix well.
When everything gets roasted, we will add 1/4 cup of grated coconut. We need to roast it for a few seconds, as it gets roasted very quickly. Once everything gets crisp and roasted well, take everything out into a bowl.
Next, add and heat one more tbsp of ghee in the Pan, and add 1/4 cup of Safed Til, and roast it on a low flame as well.
As the Til gets roasted, we will add 1 tsp of Poppy seeds, and 1 tbsp of Kishmish. Mix and roast them as well, and take them out to the bowl.
Now, take 1 cup of Dates. We will remove their seeds and grind them to a paste-like consistency.
Next, we will take a tsp of Desi Ghee, heat it, and add the paste. Roast the paste on a low flame for a minute.
Once we roast the date paste, we will take it out in the same bowl as the dry fruits. Also, grind the roasted Fox nuts and add to the bowl.
Mix everything so that the mixture blends together very well.
Now, take a full tablespoon of the mixture in your hands, and we will give it the shape of the Ladoo.
Laddu is ready. You can serve it now or store in an airtight jar for later use.
