Egg Tawa Masala Recipe

Egg tawa masala or Anda Tawa Masala is a very delicious and easy to make street food that uses eggs and spices to create a flavorful snack.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 2 inch ginger
  • 3 green chilli
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 6 boiled eggs
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 2 pinch salt
  • 2 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • 3 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • salt to taste
  • 10-12 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 cup water
  • Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Take coriander leaves, garlic cloves, ginger and green chilli and grind it by mixing with some water. keep the mixture aside.
  • Cut the boiled eggs in half.
  • Heat oil in a kadai or a tawa on medium flame.
  • Place the eggs in the kadai. The side with the yolk exposed should be down.
  • Add red chilli powder, salt, turmeric powder, chopped green chilli and fry on medium flame.
  • Flip the eggs, fry them on both sides, and take them out.
  • Add oil, cumin, and chopped onion, fry them until they become soft or onion becomes golden brown.
  • Add the mixture that was kept aside. Stir frequently and cook on medium flame.
  • Add kashmiri red chilli powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt. Mix and cook well on low flame.
  • After cooking for 3-4 minutes, add garlic cloves. Mix well and add water as required or the consistency you need and cook on medium flame. Stir frequently.
  • Add coriander leaves to enhance the taste and turn off the flame.
  • Pour the mixture into a tawa/pan on low to medium flame.
  • Add the fried eggs. Add some coriander leaves, flip the eggs, and cook both sides.
  • Turn off the flame and add lemon juice.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve with roti, rice, pav. Enjoy!
