  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp grated garlic
  • 1 tsp Red chilli flakes
  • Ghee and Wheat Flour for cooking

Instructions

  • Take 2.5 cups of wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tsp salt and 2 tbsp desi ghee. Mix well.
  • Now, start adding water gradually to prepare a dough. The dough should be tight and not too soft.
  • Once the dough is prepared, mash it for 2 minutes. Cover the lid and keep it aside for 30 minutes to let the dough set.
  • Take 4 tbsp butter in a mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp grated garlic and 1 tsp red chilli flakes.
  • Mix everything well using a spoon to prepare the Chilli Garlic Butter.
  • After half an hour, check the dough. Punch and mash it for 1-2 minutes. The dough will set very well.
  • Start making small balls from it for making the Paratha. The size is as shown below.
  • Coat the ball with dry flour and put it into the Rolling board. Spread it a little with your hands.
  • Dust with dry flour and Roll it using a Rolling Pin. The size of the Paratha should be large as shown below.
  • Now, spread the chilli garlic butter using a brush. Pour chopped coriander leaves and dust with wheat flour.
  • Now, cut it into thin layers using a knife.
  • Roll it back into a ball and press the edge into the back.
  • Dust with wheat flour and Roll it to make the Laccha Paratha. Roll it gently and not too hard. Keep the thickness slightly thick.
  • Heat a Pan on medium flame. Put the Paratha on the Pan.
  • Flip it and apply desi ghee once it is dry-roasted from one side. You can also use oil or butter.
