Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Almonds
  • 2 Cup Water

Instructions

  • To make Almond milk at home, take ½ cup of almonds in a bowl.
  • Now, add water to the bowl and soak the almonds overnight.
  • After keeping it overnight, strain the excess water and wash the almonds 1-2 times properly with fresh water.
  • Peel the outer layer of almonds. It will be easy as the Almonds swell and get soft after soaking it.
  • Add the almonds to a grinding jar.
  • Add 2 cups of water to the jar. The ratio of almonds to water should be 1:4 so for ½ cup almonds, we have added 2 cups of water.
  • Grind to a lump-free consistency.  The creamy and thick Almond milk is ready now.
  • Place a Strainer over a large bowl and strain the Almond milk of any large chunks. You can use any leftovers in any dish such as cookies.
  • The thick Almond milk is ready to serve now.
  • Serve in large glass.
