To make thick Curd, take 500 ml of full cream milk in a pot.
Now, turn on the gas and put the pot on the gas on medium to high flame. Wait for a boil.
After boiling, let the milk simmer on a low flame for 5 minutes. Stir often in between.
Turn off the flame after 5 minutes. Let the milk cool down a bit. It should be lukewarm. Check with 1 finger if it is still too hot then let it cool down further or proceed to make curd.
Add 1 tbsp curd to the bowl.
Mix well using a hand whisker.
Cover the lid and keep it aside for 6-7 hours. It usually takes 4-5 hours in the summer season.
The curd is ready now. Serve in clay pots. Enjoy
