Pour milk into a pot.
Heat milk on high flame until one boil
After a boil, let it simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off the flame. Let the milk cool for 3-4 hours. Refrigerate it overnight.
You will find a layer of thick malai formed on the top.
Skim off the layer using a knife and spatula.
Your homemade malai is ready.
