Ingredients

  • 1 cup Desi Ghee
  • 1 cup Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cup water

Instructions

  • To make Kada Prasad, take 1 cup of Desi Ghee. Keep 4 tbsp aside now and put the rest in the Pan on a low flame.
  • Add 1 cup of Whole wheat flour to the Pan.
  • Mix it well and roast on a low flame.
  • Stir continuously so that it does not burn.
  • When it changes color and starts to give an aroma, add 1 cup of sugar.
  • Stir and mix well. Cook on a low flame for 3-4 minutes, then turn off the gas.
  • Add 1 cup of water and mix well. As it absorbs the water, mix another cup of water, mix everything to let the Flour mixture absorb it.
  • Continue stirring in the clockwise direction to make a lump-free mixture.
  • As it gets the halwa-like consistency, add the leftover Desi ghee that we kept aside.
  • Mix everything well till the Halwa or Prasad gets a fine and smooth texture.
  • Serve.
