Kesar Pista Kulfi Ice cream is a nutty and delicious Kulfi recipe that is made with milk, mawa, sugar, saffron, cardamom and chopped dry fruits and gives a royal feeling.

Ingredients
  

  • 600 ml milk
  • 1 tsp saffron
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp chopped cashew
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup Mawa/Khoya
  • Chopped dry fruits for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Boil 600 ml milk in a Kadhai/pan. After a boil, stir and mix it well.
  • Add 1 tsp saffron and 1 tsp cardamom powder for flavor.Cook for 6-7 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add 2 tbsp chopped cashew, 2 tbsp chopped postachios and 2 tbsp chopped almonds. Mix well and cook for 6-7 minutes. Keep stirring.
  • Add 1/2 cup sugar. Mix well and Cook for 4-5 minutes
  • After 4-5 minutes cooking, add 1 cup Mawa/Khoya and let it mix well with the milk.
  • Once the milk has thickened to a Rabri-like consistency. Turn off the flame. Let it cool at room temperature.
  • After 1 hour, the base for Kesar Pista Kulfi ice cream is ready.
  • Pour the base into the molds and freeze overnight.
  • The delicious Kesar pista Kulfi is ready. Garnish with chopped dry fruits. Enjoy.
