Take Pav(Buns), Cut it from the middle. I've taken small pavs. Don't use burger buns.
Take a kadhai or pan. Grease it with butter.
Now, place the pav on the kadhai upside down to cook the inner side first on medium flame.
Once it gets cooked and the color changes to light golden, Flip it and cook the other side as well. Take them out in a separate plate and keep it aside for now.
Chop the following veggies:2 finely chopped onion1 finely chopped capsicum3 chopped green chilli2 inch chopped ginger12-14 finely chopped garlic2 finely chopped tomatoKeep them aside. Now, take 2 tbsp butter in the same kadhai and let it melt.
As the butter melts, add 1 tsp cumin. Stir and let it fry.
Now add chopped ginger and garlic.Stir fry it for 1 minute.
Add onion and green chilli. Stir and cook it.
When the onion gets soft, add chopped capsicum and tomatoes. Mix everything together.
After cooking for a minute, add salt as per taste. I added 1 tsp of salt. Mix well.
Now, add the following spices:1 tsp red chilli powder1/4 tsp coriander powder1/4 tsp cumin powder1/4 tsp garam masala1/2 tsp chaat masala2 tbsp pav bhaji masalaStir and Mix everything well. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Now, we will let it cool slightly and keep it aside.
After few minutes, place the stuffing in the middle of the pav. You can make almost 12 masala pav an serve 5 people.
Add 1 tbsp of butter in the kadhai and spread it well.
Place the masala pav in the kadhai and cook it well from all sides by continuosly flipping.
Serve it with green chutney, chopped coriander, onion, and lemon. Garnish with chopped onion and coriander leaves.
