To make the milk cake sweet, take 1.5 litres of full-fat milk in a heavy-bottomed pan. If you have an iron pan, you can use that.
Let the milk boil on a high flame. Stir often.
After a boil comes, stir it continuously and let it get thicker.
As the quantity gets halved, add a pinch of alum powder.
To set the Sweet, take a tray and grease it with desi ghee.
As the mixture gets thicker, scrap and add the Malai that gets deposited on the sides. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Mix well and let the sugar melt. As soon as the sugar gets dissolved, add the other half cup of sugar.
Keep stirring until the mixture thickens to the consistency shown below. Now, add 3 tbsp of Desi Ghee. Stir and mix well.
Stir and cook until the mixture gets to the consistency where it starts leaving the Pan.
Pour the mixture into the tray.
Now, cover the tray and wrap it with a thick towel. This gives milk cake a rich brownish color. Let it set for 5 hours.
After 5 hours, check the sweet. Remove the towel. You can see that the texture of the milk cake has come out to be perfect.
To remove it from the tray, first cut the sides with a knife, then flip it and tap the bottom. The rich-looking milk cake will come out easily.
Cut into any shape you like.
The tempting milk cake is ready to be served now.
Garnish with chopped pistachios and rose petals.
Enjoy the delicious Milk cake.
