Boil 1 liter full cream milk on high flame.
Once a boil comes, cook the milk on medium to high flame. Keep stirring and cook so that the milk does not stick or fall out.
Once the milk has thickened and reduced to 1/3rd, mix ½ tsp cardamom powder and ¾ cup of sugar. Mix well and let the sugar dissolve completely and also let the milk get more thick.
Once we get the desired consistency. Cook for 1 more minute and keep it aside.
Take a plate. Grease it with desi ghee and take out the mixture on the plate to let it cool.
Once the mixture has cooled down, we will keep desi ghee and powdered sugar ready in separate bowls. Grease your hands with desi ghee, prepare small Ladoos from the mixture, and then transfer them to the sugar bowl.
The milk Ladoo will absorb the sugar. Now, in the same manner, prepare the rest of the Ladoos and keep them on a plate.
Now, slightly flatten the Ladoos to give them the shape of Peda. Coat them with powdered sugar and keep them on a plate.
Garnish with Rose petals(Optional). You can also garnish them with dry fruits.
