To make the cake, we will first add 1 cup of rolled oats to a grinding jar.
Add 1/2 cup of almonds to the jar. No need to peel their skin.
Add 3/4 cup of Jaggery powder to the jar. If you prefer more sweetness, then add 1 cup.
Add 1/4 cup of Cocoa Powder to the jar.
Add 1 tsp Baking Powder to the jar.
Add 1/4 tsp Baking Soda to the jar.
Close the lid of the jar and blend everything to make a fine powder.
Sieve the powder through a fine mesh by placing the mesh above a large bowl. Mix the powder and keep it aside. Remove the leftovers.
Next, ready the baking bowl; brush it with oil. Place a butter paper and grease it with oil too.
Add 1/2 cup dahi/curd to the bowl.
Add 1/4 cup of Desi ghee or Butter to the bowl.
Mix everything well using a hand whisker till a smooth and thick consistency of batter is formed.
Spread the batter in the cake tin.
Garnish as per your desire. I garnished it with chopped nuts and chocolate.
Now, to bake it, we will use a pre-heated pressure cooker with salt in it. Keep an inverted plate or a stand, and then place the cake tin over it. Close the lid. Remove the rubber and whistle. Bake it on a low flame for 40-45 minutes.
After baking it, check by inserting a toothpick in the middle. If the toothpick comes out clean, it means the cake has baked perfectly, and you can see it has a nice color too.
Take the cake out of the pressure cooker and take it out of the cake tin once it has cooled down a bit.
Cut in any shape you like. Be careful not to cut it when it's still hot.
Serve and Enjoy!
