Take white bread slices. Cut the outer brown layer of the bread.
Take a serving bowl. Place the bread slices into the bowl. Place the bread on top of each other.
Now, we will prepare sugar syrup. Add ½ cup of sugar and ½ cup of water in a bowl. Stir and cook it on medium flame.
In the meantime, take 3 tbsp milk powder, 1 tbsp cornflour, and ¼ cup milk in a mixing jar. Blend it to make a smooth and lump-free mixture.
Check the syrup now. We do not need a 1-string consistency syrup. The syrup should be just sticky. Keep it aside.
Heat 1 cup refined oil and 1 tbsp Desi Ghee in a Fry Pan.
Add the bread slices to the Pan. Fry them until they turn crispy. Keep them aside on tissue paper to absorb the excess oil.
Take a Kadai and add 2 cups of full cream milk. Let it come to a boil.
After a boil comes, turn the flame to medium. Add ¼ cup sugar and mix well. Stir often and cook for 5 minutes.
Add ½ tsp cardamom powder and ½ tsp Saffron. Mix well.
After cooking for 5 minutes, the milk will thicken and reduce to half. Add the cornflour slurry and mix well.
After adding the slurry, the milk will start to thicken. Keep stirring and cook until the milk coats the spoon. Turn off the flame and leave it aside for 5 minutes to let it cool off.
First, dip the bread slices in the sugar syrup and place them in the serving bowl.
Set the bread in the bowl and pour the leftover syrup on the bread.
Now, pour the milk mixture over the bread and Refrigerate it for 4 hours to let it set.
After 4 hours, take it out and garnish it with chopped dry fruits like cashews, almonds, and Pista. Also, you can add rose petals.
Cit it into pieces and serve it to your kids, family members, and friends.
