Take around 20 small-sized onions
Now, make a deep cut on each onion. The cut should be in a plus sign. This will ensure that the onion will soak the flavor of “Sirka” and the onion will be so tasty.
Take the following veggies: 1 small beetroot and 5 green chilli. Finely Chop the beetroot, and divide the chillies into two parts and keep them aside.
Take a saucepan. Add ½ cup of water, 4 cloves, 10 black pepper, 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp salt. Mix it well. Now put it on medium flame over the gas. Stir so that the sugar melts. Let it boil. After a boil, turn off the flame and let it cool for a minute.
Take a large mixing bowl and add the chopped veggies, onions, and chilli water.
Now, add ¾ cup vinegar and mix it well. After mixing, you can see the nice color of the vinegar-pickled onion.
Now, take a glass jar and add the onions and vinegar to it.
Refrigerate it for 24 hours to let the onions marinate.
The vinegar onion is ready to serve. Serve it with your favorite meals.
