This Suji potato bites recipe is a new snack recipe that combines suji and aloo for an easy and delicious starter.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 cup water
  • 1 tsp red chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 boiled and grated potato
  • 3-4 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1.5 cup oil for frying
  • 1 cup semolina/sooji

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadhai/wok on high flame. After the oil is heated, change the flame to medium.
  • Add cumin, onion. Roast till it becomes soft. Keep stirring.
  • Add water, red chilli flakes, black pepper powder, salt to taste. Mix well
  • Once the water is heated, add semolina/rava. Mix well.
  • Add the grated potatoes and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  • Turn off the flame.
  • Pour it in a plate and spread it to let it cool.
  • Grease your hands with oil and prepare a soft dough. Prepare large balls.
  • Roll it and cut into small pieces.
  • Heat oil in a kadhai/wok at medium to high flame. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Fry and serve with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
