Thick Rabdi Recipe

Rabdi or Rabri is a traditional Indian sweet dish made with Milk. In this recipe, I'll show how to make Rabri thicker using a trick.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • 2 slice milk bread(remove the sides)
  • 6 tsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • Add milk in a kadhai/ wok and heat on high flame.
  • After one boil, turn the flame to low. Stir frequently.
  • Now take slices of milk bread. Chop it into small pieces.(This is the secret trick to double the amount of Rabdi in less milk)
  • Grind the pieces and make bread crumbs. keep it aside.
  • Cook milk on medium to high flame after a boil. Stir frequently.
  • Once it has reduced to one half, add the breadcrumbs.
  • Add sugar. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
  • Cook on medium flame for 5 minutes after adding breadcrumbs.
  • You can also add cardamom powder and saffron strands.
  • Thick and Creamy Rabdi is ready.
  • It will get thicker once it cools down.
  • Serve your friends and family and Enjoy.
