Vanilla custard milkshake Recipe

This custard milkshake is made using milk, custard powder and dry fruits which is very popular drink made during Ramadan.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 liter milk
  • 15-20 almonds(soaked overnight)
  • 10-12 cashew
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp saffron
  • 2 tbsp custard powder(vanilla flavor)
  • 12-15 rose petals
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • chopped almonds, pistachios, saffron for garnishing(optional)

Instructions
 

  • Take 1 liter of milk in a pot, take 1/2 cup milk out of it for now and keep the milk pot aside.
  • Take a grinding jar and add soaked almonds, cashew, cardamom powder, saffron strands, custard powder(vanilla flavor) and 12-15 rose petals.
  • Add 1/2 cup milk and grind it to make a fine and smooth paste free of lumps. Keep the mixture aside.
  • Take the milk pot and boil it on high flame. After 1 boil, turn the flame to medium.
  • Add the custard mixture and cook on low to medium flame for 8-10 minutes. Stir frequently.
  • Add sugar and cook until you get the perfect consistency. If you like it thicker, add 1 more tbsp of custard powder.
  • Let it cool and then refrigerate for 5-6 hours.
  • Garnish with rose petals and chopped almonds.
  • Pour in a glass and garnish with pistachios, saffron, almonds and rose petals. Enjoy
