Instructions

  • To make Bread pakora, first, we will prepare the masala. Take a grinding jar and add 1 tsp Fennel seeds and 1 tbsp Whole Coriander seeds.
  • Grind the spices to a coarse texture.
  • Transfer the spices to a mixing bowl. Add ½ tsp Red chilli powder, ¼ tsp Garam Masala, ½ tsp Black salt, ½ tsp Amchur Powder, ½ tsp normal Salt, ½ tsp Kasuri Methi, ½ tsp Roasted cumin powder, and ¼ tsp Kali Mirch Powder. Mix well.
  • Heat 2-3 tbsp oil on a Kadai. As soon as the oil is hot, add 1 tbsp chopped ginger, and 2 chopped Green chilli. Fry for 10-15 seconds.
  • Turn the flame to low and add the spices and ½ tsp Haldi Powder. Mix everything well and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Boil 4 potatoes. Mash the boiled potatoes and add to the Kadai.
  • Add 2 tbsp Frozen peas. Mix well.
  • Add 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and mix well. Our stuffing is ready now. Keep it aside.
  • Take a large mixing bowl. Add 2 cups of Besan.
  • Add ¼ tsp Ajwain, ½ tsp Normal salt, and ¼ tsp baking powder. Gradually start adding water and start mixing it to prepare the batter.
  • Add 1 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves. Mix well with the batter.
  • The batter is ready. The consistency should neither be too thick nor too runny.
  • Let’s prepare the Sandwich now. Take 2 bread slices. Also, keep the stuffing ready once it has cooled down.
  • Properly fill the stuffing on a bread slice.
  • Place the other slice on top of it. Press gently. Cut diagonally and divide it into two equal parts. I’m making 8 Bread Pakoras in total.
  • Add 2 tsp of hot oil in the batter. Mix well.
  • Heat oil in a Kadai to fry the Pakoras. You can also air fry them.
  • Once the oil is hot enough, dip a Pakora in the batter.
  • Add the Pakora into the Kadai to fry it on high flame.
  • Once one side gets fried and crispy, flip to the other side.
  • Fry all the Pakoras in the same manner until they turn crisp golden brown.
  • Cut from the middle and sprinkle chaat masala to enhance the taste.
  • Serve with a hot cup of tea and spicy Green chutney.
  • Enjoy
