  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup curd
  • 3 tbsp refined oil
  • Butter
  • Chopped Coriander leaves

Instructions

  • Take 3 cup of wheat flour in a large bowl. Add 2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder and ½ tsp baking soda. Mix well.
  • Once everything is mixed well, add 1 cup curd and mix well.
  • Now, start adding water in batches and make a soft dough.
  • Once the soft dough is ready, add 3 tbsp refined oil and knead it well. Apply 1 tsp of oil, wrap in cling film, and let it rest for 2 hours.
  • After 2 hours, remove the wrapper, apply oil in your hands and punch the dough. Separate the dough into large ball size to start making the Roti.
  • Keep the dough onto a Rolling board and apply some wheat flour dust. Flatten the dough with the rolling pin. You can roll it into any size as per your preference. It should not be too thin or too wide. Also, apply some water on the upper part.

  • Next, turn the pan upside down and cook it over direct flame.
  • Apply butter on the cooked Roti and cut it from middle to give it a tempting look.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Serve the Butter Tandoori Roti with your favorite curry and Enjoy a delicious meal.
