Instructions

  • To make crispy Banana Chips at home in an air fryer, take 500 gm of Bananas. These are Raw and Thick Bananas. It is easily available in the market. Raw Bananas are Green, while Ripe Bananas are Yellow in color, so you can easily identify them. Always buy small and thick Bananas to make the Chips, not the thin ones.
  • Properly wash the Bananas, dry them off with the use of a cloth, then chop off the ends of the Bananas.
  • Now, peel off the outer layer of the Bananas.
  • After peeling off the outer layer of the Bananas completely, take a large Tray using a vegetable slicer/grater, slice the Bananas.
  • Similarly, slice the Bananas, and make sure that they don’t get too thin or transparent, and also not too thick.
  • Now, for seasoning, toss with a little salt (I used 2 tsp Salt) and 1 tbsp Olive Oil. Mix well.
  • Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer.
  • Cook at 160°C for 9-10 minutes (add 1-2 minutes if needed for extra crispiness).
