Ingredients

all-purpose flour

salt

carrom seeds
5-6
tbsp
ghee/oil
water as required
oil for frying
Instructions
For Dough
Add maida, salt, carrom seeds and ghee in a mixing bowl. Mix well
Add water slowly to make a dough. Knead the dough to make it tight.
Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
For Namak para shapes
Divide the dough into 4 large balls. Roll it with the help of rolling pin and board. Keep it slightly thick and not too thin.
Cut the dough into diamond shapes.
For Cooking
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the Namak pare in batches on low flame until golden brown.
Drain excess oil by keeping them on a paper towel.
You can store them in an air-tight container and use them for 2-3months.
Notes
Let it cool and store in an airtight container.
