Take ½ cup Desi Ghee in a Kadai. Heat it on a low flame to let it melt.
As soon as the Ghee melts, add 8-10 Almonds and 8-10 Cashews. Fry it on low flame.
When the dry fruits change their color, add 12-15 Raisins and fry them for 10 seconds. Make sure to turn off the flame as soon as you add Raisins.
Take out the fried dry fruits on a separate plate. Keep them aside.
Now, add 1 cup of Suji/Rava to the Ghee. Keep stirring and cook on low flame.
Keep stirring until the Suji is roasted well. Roast for 10 seconds more.
Add 1 and ¼ cups of Sugar, 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of water. Cook on medium flame.
Keep stirring and cook as the Suji starts to thicken.
When the Suji Halwa has almost thickened, add 1 tbsp Desi ghee. Cook for 3 minutes on low flame.
Suji Ka Halwa is almost ready. Cook for 10 more seconds.
As you can see, the Halwa has thickened and we have achieved the desired consistency.
The perfect Suji Halwa Is ready now. Now, add the chopped dry fruits. Mix well.
Serve the delicious Halwa to your friends & family.
