Coconut Modak Recipe | Nariyal Modak

This Coconut Modak recipe is a variation of traditional Modak. This Modak recipe with Coconut uses dessiccated coconut & condensed milk. The traditional Modak is an Indian sweet dumpling and is the favorite sweet of Lord Ganesha. Modak is also known as Kudumu, Kadubu, or Modakam in other regional languages of India, and is served to Lord Ganesh during the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi as a prasad. In this post, I’ve shared an easy variation of the traditional Modak that can be prepared in just 15 minutes. This Nariyal Modak recipe uses dessicated coconut, Condensed Milk, and is flavored with cardamom powder, shaped using a modak mould.
