Black Tea Recipe

Black Tea Recipe

This Black Tea Recipe is one of the easiest tea recipes that you can make at home. You can make this Milkless tea with just water and tea leaves, but I’ve added some more healthy ingredients just for flavor and health benefits. It is a great option for those people who don’t want to use milk, are lactose intolerant, and also do not like to drink coffee for some reason. I like to have this black tea with organic tea leaves, which makes it organic black tea, and increases its benefits. I’m sure that you all will love the flavor and taste of this black tea, which can be brewed in under 5 minutes.

Black Tea Benefits

Black Tea has various benefits as it is rich in antioxidants and fights inflammation. It is very good for health as it lowers bad cholesterol. It helps in digestion and helps manage your weight. It also contains compounds that improve focus, fight stress, and relax your mood. It also has antigens that fight infections and improve immunity.

Black Tea Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 cups of water – Use filtered water
  • 2 tsp Tea Powder – You can use Assam Tea or Darjeeling Tea. I also encourage you to use organic tea leaves.
  • 2 Green Cardamom
  • 1/2 inch Adrak
  • 5-7 Tulsi leaves
  • Jaggery or any sweetener of your choice (optional)
  • You can also use other ingredients, such as Cloves

How To Make Black Tea

1. To make Black Tea, take a saucepan and pour in 2 cups of water. Let it heat. We’re using 1 cup of water for 1 cup of tea, but you can adjust the water amount to your preference.

2. As soon as the water starts to heat, we will add 2 tsp of tea powder. For 1 cup of tea, we are taking 1 tsp of tea powder.

3. Add 2 green cardamom. First, crush the cardamoms and then add them.

4. Next, add ½ inch of ginger. Wash it well first, then grate it and add it to the mixture.

5. Next, we will add 5-7 fresh Tulsi leaves.

6. Now, let it come to a boil. After a boil, turn the flame to medium and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Alternatively, it can be made in 2-3 minutes, but simmering for extra time gives it a strong flavor.

7. After cooking for 2-3 minutes, I’ve added Jaggery just for taste. It is also very healthy, so you can either add it or skip it.

8. After cooking for 5-6 minutes, we will strain the tea. If you want to use lemon juice, you can do so only after the tea has cooled down slightly. Adding lemon juice to hot tea can cause it to taste bitter.
