200 gm Strawberries – chop away the rotten and moldy parts.
1 cup Sugar for Sweetness and preserving the Crush for six months
1 tsp Lemon juice or 1 pinch Citric acid for preserving the Strawberry Crush for a year
How to Make Strawberry Crush at Home
1. To make Strawberry crush at home, take 200 gm of Freshly cleaned and dried strawberries. Cut off the top and the rotten parts.

2. After cleaning the strawberries, we will chop them into small pieces.

3. Now, take a pan and add the chopped pieces. Don’t turn on the gas/burner yet.

4. Add 1 cup of Sugar to the mixture. If you want to preserve it for a year, then use 1 pinch of Citric Acid.

5. Turn on the gas, stir, and mix well until the sugar melts on low to medium flame.

6. Cover the lid and cook for 3-4 minutes on low flame so the Strawberries get cooked well.

7. Remove the lid and mash the strawberries with a spatula. Now, stir and cook until you get a 1-string consistency of the mixture.

8. At this point, just turn off the flame and let the mixture cool down a bit. We want to avoid overcooking it, or it might end up getting way too thick.

9. After cooling down, the Strawberry crush is ready. You can store it in an airtight container, refrigerate it, and use it for a year.
