Like everyone, I just love burgers and veg Burger is my favorite. The Tikki for the burger is most important for making the burger. It is prepared from mashed potatoes and other veggies like Peas, Carrots, and spices. The patties are coated with bread crumbs and deep-fried until they become crispy. I love to layer the Burger with veggies and sauces that make the burger so flavorful. With my tips and step-by-step instructions, you will be able to make the perfect Tikki or Aloo Patties for Burger.

Aloo Tikki Burger Recipe Ingredients
For Tikki
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin
- 6 boiled & grated Potatoes
- 1 chopped Onion
- 1 peeled & grated carrot
- 6-7 chopped Beans
- 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 2-inch chopped ginger
- 3 chopped green chilli
- ¼ cup Frozen Matar(Peas)
- 3 tbsp Poha
- 1 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- salt to taste
For Batter
- ½ cup Maida(All-purpose-Flour)
- ¼ cup Corn Flour
- ½ tsp black pepper powder
- ½ tsp salt
Bread for making Bread Crumbs
Butter for Roasting Buns
Oil for Frying the Tikki
How To Make Aloo Tikki Burger
1. Take 1 tbsp Coriander seeds and 1 tsp cumin in a Grinding jar. Grind into a powder form.
2. Prepare the following veggies: 6 boiled & grated Potatoes, 1 chopped Onion, 1 peeled & grated carrot, and 6-7 chopped Beans, 3 tbsp chopped coriander leaves, 2 inches chopped ginger, and 3 chopped green chilli.
3. Take ¼ cup Frozen Matar. Keep it aside.
4. Wash 3 tbsp Poha and soak it for 10 minutes. Keep it aside.
5. Heat 1 tbsp Oil in a Kadai. Add 1 tbsp butter. Let it melt.
6. Add the spices and cook on low flame for 30 seconds when the butter melts.
7. Add the chopped onion & ginger and cook for 2 minutes.
8. Add the chopped carrots, beans, Matar, and Green chilli. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes on medium flame.
9. Add the following spices: ½ tsp Turmeric powder, 1 tsp Red chilli powder, ½ tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Garlic powder, and salt to taste. Mix everything well.
10. Add the chopped potatoes, Poha, and some coriander leaves. Mix it well. Cover it and keep it aside to let it cool down a bit.
11. In the meantime, take ½ cup Maida(All-purpose-Flour) and ¼ cup Corn Flour in a mixing bowl. Add ½ tsp black pepper powder and ½ tsp salt. Add water gradually to make a slightly thick batter. Keep it aside.
12. Grind bread in a grinding jar to make bread crumbs. Keep it aside.
13. Now Prepare Tikki from the Masala. Keep the size slightly smaller than the burger buns.
14. Dip the Tikki in the batter and let the batter coat it from all sides.
15. Now, coat it with the bread crumbs.
16. Heat oil in a Kadai to fry the Tikki on medium flame.
17. Fry until it gets crisp from both sides and gets a nice color. Keep them aside.
18. Heat 1 tbsp butter on a Pan. Spread it evenly. Now, take a burger bun, and cut it from between. Roast it properly until it gets crispy.
19. Let’s prepare the burger. Put normal Mayonnaise or Burger Mayonnaise on one half of the bun.
20. Put the veggies you choose like cabbage, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.
21. Put a cheese slice and the Tikki above the veggies. Put the other half of the Burger Bun to complete the Burger.
The very delicious and crispy Veg Aloo Tikki burger is ready. Serve with tomato ketchup and Enjoy.
