In this White Sauce Pasta Recipe, I’ll be sharing one of my favorite Pasta Recipe that is made with White Sauce or Béchamel sauce. You can make it under 30 minutes and serve it as a Snack or as a Dinner for your Kids. Pasta is a very popular food item and is used to make many dishes. To make this Restaurant-Style Pasta in White Sauce, use wheat Pasta or Penne Pasta to make it healthy. This Pasta Recipe turned out very delicious because of the rich and creamy White Sauce. I’ve also added a lot of mixed veggies like carrots, corn, and capsicum, and also added Mozzarella cheese to add more flavor to the dish. The main ingredient for this recipe is making the cheesy and creamy White Sauce with butter, milk, cheese, and flour. I’ve shown the easy way to make this simple White sauce which can also be used for making a lot of other recipes. White Sauce Pasta Recipe Video
Ingredients For White Sauce Pasta
- 1 litre water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 1.5 cups of Pasta
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp of Maida(Refined Flour)
- 1.5 cup of milk
- ¼ cup of Mozzarella Cheese for White Sauce
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes & 1 tsp Mixed Herbs for White Sauce
- 1/2 Capsicum
- 1/2 carrot
- 1/2 Onion
- 2 tbsp Corn
- 6 Garlic cloves
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a Pan
- 1 tsp Red Chilli flakes and mixed herbs for Pasta
- 2 tbsp Mozzarella Cheese for Pasta
- Chilli Flakes for garnishing
How To Make White Sauce Pasta with Cheese
1. Take 1 liter of water in a large steel bowl. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil. Boil it on high flame.
2. Add 1.5 cups of Penne Pasta to the bowl once the water boils. Let the Pasta cook on high flame.
3. Mix and Stir the Pasta continuously until the Pasta is cooked 90%.
4. Now, strain the water through a sieve. Keep the Pasta aside for now.
5. Let’s make the cheesy white sauce for Pasta now. Take a Pan and add 2 tbsp butter. Stir and let the butter melt. Add 2 tbsp of Maida(Refined Flour), and roast the Maida on low flame. The Maida will change to a golden color and fill the air with its aroma. You can also swap Maida with 1 tbsp wheat flour for a healthier option.
6. Add 1.5 cups of milk gradually and mix it well with the Maida. Stir continuously and make a lump-free mixture.
7. Add ¼ cup of Mozzarella Cheese,1 tsp Red Chilli Flakes, and 1 tsp Mixed Herbs.
8. Mix well. Let the sauce simmer and get thicker. Check if it coats the spoon. The White Sauce is ready. Turn off the flame and keep the white sauce aside.
9. I’ve already chopped the following veggies: Capsicum, carrot, Onion, Corn and Garlic. Keep them aside.
10. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a Pan. When the oil is heated, add the chopped garlic. Cook it for half a minute. After half a minute, add the rest of the chopped veggies.
11. Cook the veggies on low to medium flame for 2 minutes. Add salt as per taste.
12. Add Red Chilli flakes and mixed herbs. Mix everything well.
13. Add the White Sauce mixture. Stir and mix it well on low flame.
14. Add the boiled Pasta. Mix and Stir well. We only have to cook it for a minute now.
15. Add Mozzarella Cheese. This is Optional. Mix well. After cooking for a minute, the White Sauce Pasta is ready. Garnish with Chili flakes.

Instructions

- Once the water comes to a boil, add 1.5 cups of Pasta to the bowl. Let the Pasta cook on high flame.
- Mix and Stir the Pasta continuously until the Pasta gets cooked 90%.
