Avocado Toast Ingredients
- 2 Avocados – Use Hass Avocado as it is creamy and nutty. Don’t use Underripe or Overripe Avocados.
- 1 tsp crushed Black pepper
- Salt to taste.
- 1 medium-sized chopped tomato
- chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp lemon juice to add richness and prevent browning
- Medium-sized bread loaves – For Avocado Bread, use whole grain or multi-grain bread for extra nutrition.
- Butter/Ghee
- Red chilli flakes and Sesame seeds
How to Make Avocado Toast
1. To make Avocado Toast, we will take 2 Hass Avocados. Avocados that are slightly darker in color are better.

2. Slice open the Avocados and remove the seeds or pit.

3. Scoop out the pulp of the Avocados into a bowl using a spoon.

4. The avocado pulp is very easy to take out. You can also choose to leave small pieces if you like a chunkier texture however, I prefer to have a creamy spread.

5. Mash the pulp with a fork to make the texture smooth and creamy or to your preferred consistency.

6. Add 1 tsp Black pepper.

7. Add salt to taste.

8. Add 1 medium-sized chopped tomato, coriander leaves, and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Mix everything well.

9. The Avocado mix is ready. Keep it aside for now.

10. Take medium-sized bread loaves. I’m using whole wheat multigrain bread here. Avoid bread that contains Maida and Palm oil.

11. Take a Pan. Brush with butter or Ghee. Slightly toast the loaves on a low to medium flame till they turn golden brown.

12. Similarly, toast all the bread loaves.

13. Apply and spread the Avocado mix on the bread loaves evenly.

14. Cut in any shape you desire.

15. Sprinkle red chilli flakes and sesame seeds. You can get creative with toppings such as Eggs and cheese.
