Ingredients to make Besan Chilla Recipe
- 3 cups Besan (Gram Flour)
- 3 chopped onion
- 3 chopped green chilli
- 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
- salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- water as required
How to make Besan ka Chilla (Step-by-step Instructions)
1.Take a large mixing bowl. Add 3 cups of besan(gram flour).
2. Chop the following veggies: 3 onions finely chopped, 3 green chilli, and 1/2 cup coriander leaves.
3. Next, add the chopped veggies to the bowl.
4. Now, we will add the following spices: add salt to taste, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp cumin powder, and 1/2 tsp chilli powder.
5. Gradually add water as required. Mix well and use a hand whisker to prepare a smooth thin batter(not too runny) as shown below. Keep it aside.
6. Heat a nonstick pan on medium to high flame. Grease it with oil once it is hot. Spread the oil evenly using a brush.
7. Pour a big ladle(check the video) of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly from the sides. Let the one side cook for 2-3 minutes on medium to high flame.
8. Flip it once you see that bubbles are forming on top. It will get dry and the bottom side turns golden brown.
9. Pour a little oil around the edges and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side also gets dry and turns golden brown. The tasty and healthy besan chilla is ready now.
10. Serve it with green chutney or yogurt. Enjoy your delicious and healthy breakfast.

- Pour a little oil around the edges and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the other side also gets dry and turns golden brown.
- Serve it with green chutney or yogurt.
