How To Make Mango Shrikhand | Aam Ka Shrikhand
Make Hung Curd
1. To make Mango Shrikhand, first we have to make hung curd. Take a large bowl, place a strainer over it, and then place a thin cotton or linen cloth over the filter.

2. Pour 400 gm of Fresh curd over the cloth.

3. Press and squeeze out the excess water from the curd in the bowl.

4. Transfer the grey-colored water to a separate bowl. Keep it aside. This water can be used to make other popular dishes such as Kadhi.

5. Now, again place the strainer over the large bowl. Place the curd along with the cloth over it. Fold the cloth properly.

6. Place a plate over the cloth and some heavy weight over the plate. Refrigerate it for 4 hours so that any leftover water is squeezed out and it doesn’t become sour.

7. After 4 hours, take it out. You can see that the curd has now changed into Hung Curd which has a Paneer-like texture.
