In this traditional recipe for Aamras, I’ll share an easy Aamras Recipe that you can make at home with ripe and juicy Mangoes. The Aamras is a delicious delicacy enjoyed here in India during summer and served with Poori. This Aamras Puri is a very popular dish that can be eaten as a breakfast or a lunch.
Aam means Mango and Ras is basically the pulp of the Mangoes. So, it is also known as Mango Ras. We will make it using the traditional method in which pulp is extracted from the softened-up mangoes without using a blender. This is my Grandmother’s special recipe and She used to prepare Aam ras using the same method. For flavor, I’ve used saffron and cardamom, but you can skip them too. Make this delicious Mango recipe today using the recipe video and step-by-step instructions.
