How to choose a perfect Muskmelon
To choose a perfect muskmelon, always look for the muskmelon that has a netted texture. The skin should be unblemished, the smell should be sweet, and there should be no cracks on the skin. Also, the stem should not be attached. A perfectly ripe melon would be heavy, should not be too firm or too soft, and would have an indent at the place of the stem.

Recipe Ingredients
- 1 Muskmelon (400 g)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp jaggery
- 2 cups of cold water
How to Cut a Cantaloupe
Follow the step-by-step instructions below to cut a Cantaloupe melon perfectly. Alternatively, you can also check the video below.
1. To cut a Cantaloupe, first cut the melon in half.

2. Scoop out the seeds with a spoon.

3. Peel the outer skin.

4. Cut a large piece in half and chop it into large pieces.

5. Now, chop the large pieces into smaller pieces.

How to Make Muskmelon Juice
1. To make Muskmelon Juice, take the chopped pieces of Muskmelon.

2. Add the chopped pieces to a grinding jar.

3. Add 1 tbsp of lemon juice to the jar.

4. Add 2 tbsp of jaggery for sweetness.

5. Add 1.5 to 2 cups of cold water to the jar.

6. Blend till smooth.

7. Pour into large glasses.

Ingredients
- 1 Musk melon
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Jaggery/Dhaga Mishri
- 2 cup cold water
Instructions
- To cut a Cantaloupe melon, first cut the melon in half, and scoop out the seeds with a spoon.
