How To Make Soft Puri – Step by Step Instructions

3. Add 1 tbsp of desi ghee to the mixture and mix it well.
4. Gradually add warm water(Usually 1/4 cup) to prepare a tight dough. Knead it well for a few minutes. Cover it and keep it aside to let it rest for 15 minutes.
5. Remove the lid and knead it again for 2-3 minutes. Prepare medium-size Peda from the dough to make Puri.
6. Rather than sprinkling flour, grease the rolling board and pin with ghee. Now, roll the Pedas to make Puri.
7. Similarly, make the other Puri. Don’t roll it too thick or too thin.
8. To fry the Puri, heat desi ghee in a Kadai. Fry the poori on medium to high flame. You can also use Oil, but Ghee makes it healthier and also tastier.
