Strawberry Milkshake is the perfect summer drink to refresh you in the summer. Strawberry has that sweet and tangy flavor that we all love. This strawberry milkshake recipe is a rich and creamy healthy milkshake that can be enjoyed as a breakfast, after a meal, or as a dessert. I’m making this strawberry milkshake with Ice cream to make it thicker and richer. You can also skip the ice cream and use vanilla extract and lots of nuts for an even more delicious and healthy Strawberry milkshake.
About Strawberry Milkshake
The strawberry milkshake is made with fresh strawberries, milk, vanilla ice cream, and sugar. You can also add whipped cream, vanilla extract, or strawberry syrup for extra flavoring. The ingredients are blended in a blender to make a very smooth and creamy milkshake. Pour the shake into a glass and top it with Ice cream, fresh strawberries, and chocolate syrup, and you will have a perfect dessert at home. You can also make it vegan by substituting cow’s milk with almond milk. It is a very simple recipe that can be adjusted as per your preferences and taste, which also makes this drink very versatile. Just follow my step-by-step recipe and enjoy this amazing beverage at home.

Strawberry Milkshake Ingredients
- 15 Fresh Strawberry. If you are using Frozen strawberries, then first let them thaw slightly.
- 2.5 cups of chilled milk- the amount of milk can be adjusted as per the desired consistency. Also, the type of milk can be adjusted as per your diet and the desired texture.
- 2 tsp sugar – can be adjusted as per taste and can be substituted for other healthier options like honey or syrup.
- 2 tbsp of Strawberry crush
- Vanilla Ice cream/Strawberry Ice cream – it makes the shake thicker and more creamy.
- Fresh Strawberry for garnishing (optional)
How to Make a Strawberry Milkshake with Ice Cream
1. Wash and rinse 1 cup(around 15 fresh strawberries). Learn how to properly clean Strawberry. Add more or fewer strawberries as per your requirement.

2. Remove the stems or the green leafy part at the top. Also, chop away any rotten or pressed parts. Slice the strawberries into small pieces. (optional)

3. Take a grinding jar. Add the strawberries to the jar.

4. Add 4 scoops of Vanilla Ice cream or Strawberry Ice Cream to the jar. You can either buy the ice cream from the market or use homemade Vanilla Ice Cream. You can also use vanilla extract if you do not have the ice cream or do not want to use it.

5. Add 2 tbsp of Strawberry crush. (optional) to enhance the taste. I’ve used homemade Strawberry crush that you can also make and use in the recipe.

6. Add 2 tsp of sugar. Adjust the sweetness after tasting the shake as per your taste. You can also use other types of sweeteners like honey, brown sugar, and organic sugar. If you want to make a strawberry protein shake, you can also add around 15-20 cashews and almonds (soaked in water for 5 hours). You can also completely skip the sugar as it is naturally sweetened with milk, ice cream, and sweet strawberries.

7. Add 2.5 cups of boiled and chilled Milk. You can also use Almond Milk or Soy Milk to make a dairy-free Strawberry Milkshake. You can use more milk; however, adding less milk means that the shake will have a thicker consistency.

8. Blend the mixture until you get a smooth texture.

9. Now, take the serving glasses and decorate the inside walls of the glass with Strawberry crush.

10. Pour the thick and creamy shake into the serving glasses.

Top with vanilla or Strawberry ice cream, making it extra flavorful and also with fresh strawberries. You can also garnish it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup to make it more tempting. Serve it chilled. Enjoy!
