Tawa Egg Masala Ingredients
- 12 garlic cloves
- 2-inch ginger
- 3 green chilli
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves
- 6 boiled eggs
- 6 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 pinch salt
- 2 pinch turmeric powder
- 1 chopped green chilli
- 3 chopped onion
- 1 tsp cumin
- 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- salt to taste
- 10-12 garlic cloves
- 3/4 cup water
- Coriander leaves
- 1/2 lemon juice
How to make Egg Tawa Masala – Step-by-step instructions
1. Take 1/2 cup coriander leaves, 12 garlic cloves, 2-inch ginger, and 3 green chilli and grind it by mixing with some water. keep the mixture aside.
2. Cut the 6 boiled eggs in half.
3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadai or a tawa on medium flame.
4. Place the eggs in the kadai. The side with the yolk exposed should be down.
5. Add 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 2 pinch salt, 2 pinch turmeric powder, and 1 chopped green chilli, and fry on medium flame.
6. Flip the eggs, fry them on both sides and take them out.
7. Add 4 tbsp oil, 1 tsp cumin, and 3 chopped onions and fry them until they become soft or the onion becomes golden brown.
8. Add the mixture that was kept aside. Stir frequently and cook on medium flame.
9. Add 2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1 tsp garam masala and salt to taste. Mix and cook well on low flame.
10. After cooking for 3-4 minutes, add 10-12 garlic cloves. Mix well and add 3/4 water or as required or the consistency you need and cook on medium flame. Stir frequently.
11. Add chopped coriander leaves to enhance the taste and turn off the flame.
12. Pour the mixture into a tawa/pan on low to medium flame.
13. Add the fried eggs. Add some coriander leaves and flip the eggs to cook both sides.
14. Turn off the flame and add 1/2 lemon juice.
15. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
16. Serve with roti, rice, or pav. Enjoy!
