Aam Panna is also known as Kairi Panha or Mango Panna. In this recipe, I’ll show you how to make Aam Panna with full step-by-step photos and a detailed video recipe at home without sugar. Aam Panna is very famous during the summer season as it is known for its cooling properties. It is made from raw green mangoes and served chilled to refresh and hydrate you during the hot summer months. You can also use sugar and jaggery to make a sweetened Mango Panna, but I have made it in a very healthy manner, so I’ve skipped using sugar. It has a tangy flavor and so many health benefits that you should make this drink a regular in your diet. I’ll show how to make Aam Panna using a Pressure cooker, which is a very quick and easy method.

Ingredients to make Mango Panna Without Sugar
- 3 Raw Mango
- 2 cups of water
- 12-15 mint leaves
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 inch ginger
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tbsp black salt
- 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder
How to Make Aam Panna – Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Take 3 Raw Green Mangoes and wash them properly. The Mangoes should not be smaller in size. Take slightly larger mangoes. It would be great if the Mangoes had the seeds inside.

2. Take a pressure cooker. Add the mangoes to the pressure cooker and add 1 cup of water. Close the lid of the cooker and Cook until 3 whistles on medium flame.

3. Let the pressure in the cooker go away and the cooker cool down before opening the lid. Take out the Mangoes on a plate. Let the mangoes cool and then peel the layers.

4. Take a grinding jar. Cut the mangoes into small pieces and add them to the grinding jar.

5. Add 12-15 mint leaves, 1/2 inch ginger, 2 green chilli, 1/2 lemon juice, and 1 tbsp black salt to the jar.

6. Add 1 cup of water to the grinding jar and blend it with the spices. A fine paste would be ready.

7. Add 2 more glasses of water(Add chilled water if you need to serve it quickly) and blend it until the desired consistency is achieved. You can now refrigerate it for 2 hours.

8. Add 1/2 roasted cumin powder(Dry roast cumin powder in a pan) and 2 ice cubes to a glass. You can add black salt as per taste.

9. Pour the chilled Aam Panna into the glass.

10. Garnish with mint leaves. Serve it chilled. The guests will love the tangy flavor of the drink.
