The egg fry or Boiled Egg fry recipe is a very tasty breakfast and snack dish. Egg is called “Anda” in India so this dish is also called Anda Fry in India. It is one of the most famous street food in India and is usually a great breakfast dish but people also eat it after a workout as a snack or as a side dish with Roti(Indian Flatbread). To make the Half Egg Fry, the eggs are first boiled and the outer layer is peeled. They are then cut in half and fried in a little oil until they turn golden brown and get a nice color. After that, veggies like onion and chilli, and spices are added to give it a unique flavor. It can also be customized as per your requirements and taste as you can also add more veggies and spices such as peas and paneer so it has a lot of variations. It can be prepared dry or with gravy. I’m making a dry and simple Indian Street-style Egg Fry that uses minimum spices but gives an amazing taste and flavor that is simply irresistible.
Egg Fry is one of my favorite dishes. I’m mostly vegetarian but sometimes, I do eat non-veg and Eggs are a complete food in my opinion. It’s healthy and gives us all the nutrition that we need for a balanced life. Eggs are normally just boiled and then cut in half and served after sprinkling some chaat masala. But, in this recipe, I’ve shown a unique way of making this normal dish even more tasty and tempting. This also adds a unique flavor to this amazing dish. I’m sure that your kids will surely love this dish.

Boiled Egg Fry Recipe Ingredients
- 4 boiled & peeled Eggs
- 2 Finely chopped medium-sized onions
- Finely Chopped Coriander leaves
- 2 chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black salt
How to Make Egg Fry Dry Recipe (Step-by-Step Process)
1) First boil 4 Eggs in a bowl for 15 minutes. After boiling, drain the water and let it cool down slightly, and then peel the outer layer of the eggs and cut them in half. Keep them aside.
2) Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai/wok on medium flame.
3) When the oil is heated, add the boiled eggs as shown in the pic below to the kadhai/wok, and fry on medium flame until golden brown. Fry both sides of the Eggs.
4) Add 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black salt and turn off the flame.
5) Add the chopped coriander leaves, 2 chopped green chilli, and 2 chopped medium-sized onions and Mix well.
6) Place the eggs on a serving plate.
8) Now, garnish it with the veggies and sprinkle some red chili powder
9) Enjoy your street-style Egg Fry Snacks. You can also serve it with Roti.

Boiled Egg Fry Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 boiled eggs
- 2 chopped onion
- chopped coriander leaves
- 2 chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black salt
Instructions
- Cut the boiled eggs into halves.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a kadhai/wok over medium heat.
- Place boiled eggs into the hot oil. Fry the eggs on medium heat until the eggs are golden brown.
- Flip the eggs over and fry for 1-2 minutes on the other side.
- Add 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black salt and flip over the eggs.
- Turn off the flame and add coriander leaves, green chilli and onion.
- Serve it hot along with rice, roti or bread. Enjoy.
