Kanda Poha Recipe Video
Poha Recipe Ingredients
- 1 Cup Poha
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped potato
- 3-4 chopped garlic cloves
- 2 chopped green chilli
- 3 tbsp Mustard oil
- ¼ cup Raw Peanuts
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
How To Make Kanda Poha Recipe
1. To make Poha, take 1 cup of thick Poha.
2. Properly wash the Poha 3-4 times.
3. Chop the following veggies: 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped potato, 3-4 chopped garlic cloves, and 2 chopped green chilli.
4. Heat 2 tbsp Mustard oil in a Kadai. Add ¼ cup Raw Peanuts and roast it. Roast until a crack appears and keep aside. Don’t roast on high flame for too long, or the peanuts will burn.
5. Add 1 tbsp oil in the same Kadai. Add 1 tsp cumin, chopped garlic and potato. Fry the potatoes for a bit to make them crispy and crunchy.
6. Add the chopped onions and green chilli. Mix well.
7. Add salt to taste, and cook for 1-2 minutes on low to medium flame. Now, cover it and let it cook for another 2 minutes.
8. Add 1 tsp coriander powder and ½ tsp turmeric powder. Mix well and cook for 1 minute.
9. Now, add the Poha and mix well. Also, add the roasted peanuts and mix well.
10. The delicious and healthy morning breakfast from Poha is ready now.
Serve with lemon for extra flavor. Enjoy!
