Almond is also known as Badam in India. Badam Milk is a plant-based alternative to normal dairy milk so it is beneficial for those people who are lactose intolerant or just don’t prefer dairy milk. It is free of any flavors so you will notice a difference in taste. It is also very light and can be used to make other dishes such as smoothies, and overnight oats or also for baking. You can also refrigerate it and use it for 5 days.

- 1/2 Cup Almonds
- 2 Cup Water
How To Make Almond Milk at Home
1. To make this amazing drink, take ½ cup of almonds in a bowl.
2. Now, add water to the bowl and soak the almonds overnight or for 6 hours.
3. After keeping it overnight, strain the excess water and wash the almonds 1-2 times properly with fresh water.
4. Peel the outer layer of almonds. It will be easy as the Almonds swell and soft after soaking it.
5. Add the almonds to a grinding jar.
6. Add 2 cups of water to the jar. The ratio of almonds to water should be 1:4 so for ½ cup almonds, we have added 2 cups of water.
7. Grind to a lump-free consistency. The creamy and thick mixture is ready now.
8. Place a Strainer over a large bowl and strain the mixture of any large chunks. You can use any leftovers in any dish such as cookies.
9. The thick Almond milk is ready to serve now.
10. Serve in a large glass.
