This homemade Kadai Paneer Masala powder is made with simple herbs and spices like coriander seeds, cumin, cardamom, Kashmiri Red Chilli, and others. I always prefer to make this Kadai Masala Powder at home to make the Kadai Paneer as it adds a lot of flavor and aroma to the dish.

Kadai Masala Powder Recipe Video
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin
- ¼ tsp Fennel seeds
- 2 green cardamom
- 1 black cardamom
- ½ inch Cinnamon
- 4 Cashews
- 2 whole Dry Kashmiri Red Chilli
How To Make Kadai Masala Powder
1. To make Kadai Paneer Masala, take a large Pan. Add the following spices to it: 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp cumin, ¼ tsp Fennel seeds, 2 green cardamom, 1 black cardamom, ½ inch Cinnamon, 4 Cashews, and 2 whole Dry Kashmiri Red Chilli.
2. Stir well. Chop the Kashmiri Red chilli into two pieces. Dry roast on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
3. When the air fills with the aroma from the spices, turn off the flame.
4. Transfer the spices to a grinding jar.
5. Grind to make the Masala. It would be coarse in consistency.
You can now use this Masala to make the delicious Kadai Paneer Masala Sabji, Butter Naan, and Jeera Rice.
