What is Kasuri Methi
Fenugreek seeds or Kasuri Methi’s leaves and seeds are an essential ingredient that is used to enhance the flavor of Indian dishes such as Tikka, Curry, and Dal. Fenugreek leaves are dried and used in cooking to give a rich flavor to the dishes. Not only does it add a flavor to any dish, but it also has many health benefits for the body as it reduces cholesterol, and helps in diabetes, and weight management.

How To Make Kasuri Methi-Dried Fenugreek Leaves at Home
1. To dry the Fenugreek leaves, wash fresh Methi leaves 4-5 times to remove any impurities. Pluck the leaves from the stem and get rid of the stems.
2. Now, place and spread the leaves on a dry kitchen towel and use another kitchen towel to pat dry the leaves.
3. Once dried, place the leaves on a separate plate and keep them in shade in an airy room for 2-3 days. It will become dry. You can also microwave it for the same.
For Microwave, just place the dried leaves on a plate that is safe for the microwave and then roast it for 2-3 minutes. After 2-3 minutes, flip the leaves and then roast it for 2 minutes.
4. Here I microwaved it for 5 minutes. As you can see, it has become dry.
5. Crush the leaves with your hands.
6. The Kasuri Methi is ready.
You can now store it by keeping it in an airtight container.
