In this Murmura Ladoo Recipe, you will learn to make the crunchy and healthy Puffed Rice Laddu. It is also known as Lai Ke Ladoo as Murmura is also called Lai in Hindi. Making this Murmura laddu is very easy and it requires very few ingredients like Puffed Rice, Jaggery, and Ghee. The process of making the Ladoo is very similar to that of Til Ladoo, and Peanut Chikki, just the main ingredient is different. It is usually prepared during the festival of Makar Sankranti and can be served as a sweet and light snack.

Murmura Ladoo Ingredients
- 3 cups of Puffed Rice
- 1 cup of Jaggery
- 1 tsp of desi ghee
How To Make Murmura Ladoo
1. Take 3 cups of Puffed Rice. It is also known as Lai or Murmura in Hindi.
2. Take 1 cup of Jaggery. It is also known as Gud in Hindi.
3. Dry roast Lai on a Kadai on medium flame. We will roast it until it turns crispy and turns slightly brownish in texture. Take it out of a bowl and keep it aside.
4. Take the Jaggery in the same Kadai. Add 1 tsp of desi ghee and let it melt on low flame to make a thick jaggery syrup.
5. Once it melts, cook it on low flame. Take a small water bowl. Pour some of the jaggery mixture into the bowl to check the desired consistency.
6. Stretch the mixture and there should be elasticity. This is the sign that the jaggery syrup is ready to make the Ladoo.
7. Add the Roasted Lai to the Kadai now. Mix it well with the Jaggery mixture.
8. Grease your hands with water. Roll a handful of the mixture between your hands to prepare the Murmura Ladoo.
9. Prepare all the Laddos in the same manner.
