Paneer Bhurji Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 4 onion
  • 2 green chilli
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger garlic
  • 2 tomato
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • 1 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1.5 tbsp gram flour
  • 300 gm paneer
  • coriander leaves
  • water as required

How to make Paneer Bhurji Gravy – Dhaba Style (Step-by-Step Instructions)

1)Heat 4 tbsp oil on medium to high flame in a kadhai/wok.

2) Once the oil is heated, add 1 tsp cumin, and 4 finely chopped onions.

3) Saute it on low flame until the onion turns golden in color.

4) Add 2 chopped green chilli, and 1 tbsp grated ginger garlic and mix everything well.

5) Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and cover the lid to let it cook. Stir in between.

6) After cooking for 5-7 minutes, add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, salt as per taste, 1 tsp kasuri methi, 1 tbsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, and 1 tsp red chilli powder.

7) Create a space on the side and Add 1 tbsp desi ghee and 1.5 tbsp gram flour and saute on low flame. Mix well

8) Cover the lid for 4-5 minutes to let it cook and after that, add 1/2 cup of water.

9) Add 300 gm of crumbled paneer and mix it well with the curry.

10) Add 1/2 cup of water and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.

11) Cover the lid for 3 minutes and cook on low flame. The thick curry is almost ready.

12) Turn off the flame and close the lid for 5 more minutes. The curry is fully ready.

  • 1 tbsp desi ghee
  • 1.5 tbsp gram flour
  • 300 gm paneer
  • coriander leaves
  • water as required

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadhai/wok
  • Add cumin, chopped nion and saute on low flame until onion turns golden.
  • Add chopped green chilli, grated ginger garlic and mix well.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and cover the lid to let it cook. Stir in between.
  • After 5-7 minutes, add tumeric powder, salt, kasuri methi, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder.
  • Add desi ghee and gram flour and saute on low flame. Mix well
  • Cover the lid for 4-5 minutes.
  • Add paneer and mix well.
  • Add water and chopped coriander leaves. Mix well.
  • Cover the lid for 3 minutes and cook on low flame.
  • Close the lid for 5 more minutes. Serve it with rotis or pav.
