As a kid, we all have eaten the popular Maggi at least once in our life. This Vegetable Masala Maggi Recipe takes the same Maggi noodles and mixes them with spices and veggies like onions, tomato, coriander, Chilli, and peas to create a dish that is even tastier than the normal Maggi. This Maggi noodles masala recipe is a variation of this most loved and most popular street food in India. Adding the veggies makes it healthier and also lets us have the option of eating veggies with our perfect evening snack Maggi when we are not feeling like cooking something on a lazy evening.

Vegetable Maggi Masala Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped Garlic
  • 2 chopped Green chillies
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 2-3 finely chopped tomatoes
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • You can also use other vegetables, such as corn, capsicum, and carrots.

How To Make Vegetable Masala Maggi Recipe

Now, let’s look at how to make Masala Maggie in step-by-step instructions.

1. Take 3 tbsp cooking oil in a Kadai. Let it heat on a medium flame.

2. Once it’s heated, add 1 tbsp chopped Garlic and 2 chopped Green chillies.

3. Next, add 1 finely chopped onion and let everything sauté on medium flame.

4. Add 2-3 finely chopped tomatoes. Let it cook.

5. Now, add salt to taste, 1 tsp of Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp of Coriander Powder, and 1/2 tsp of Turmeric Powder. Mix well.

6. Now, stir and let the tomatoes get soft. As soon as they get soft, add 1/4 cup Frozen Green Peas. Mix well. You can also use Fresh Matar if it’s available.

7. Now, add 2 packets of Maggie masala and mix with 5 tbsp of water. Let the spices roast for a bit.

8. Next, add 2 cups of water. Remember, for 1 packet of Maggie, we will use 1 cup of water, so the ratio of water to Maggie packets should be 1:1.

9. Let the water come to a boil. Then, add the Maggie to the Kadai.

10. Close the lid, and let it cook for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.

11. After 5-7 minutes, remove the lid and mix the Maggie.

12. Add chopped coriander leaves. Close the lid and let it cook for 3-4 minutes on a low flame.

13. After 3-4 minutes, remove the lid, mix, and cover the lid again to cook the Maggie for 1 minute.

14. After 1 minute, remove the lid, and you can see that the Veg Masala Maggie is ready. Pour into a Plate.
