French Fry Ingredients
- 3 large-size potatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 5-6 tbsp corn flour
- 3 tbsp tomato ketchup
- 2 tbsp plain Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp of salt
- Red chilli powder
- Chaat masala
How To Make Crispy French Fries
1. To make crispy French Fries, properly wash 3 large-size potatoes several times. Peel the outer layer of them.
2. To cut them into French fry shapes, you can use a French fry cutter or if you don’t have one, then you can also do it with a knife. First, cut the corners and keep them aside.
3. Now, cut them into thin layers.
4. Soak the pieces into a bowl of water. Wash them properly until you can see crystal-clear water.
5. Turn on the gas and add 1 tsp salt.
6. Turn the flame to high and wait until 1 boil. Stir often.
7. Take the cooked potato pieces into a large bowl. Add 5-6 tbsp corn flour, and coat the pieces with it.
8. Fry the potato pieces for 2-3 minutes on low to medium flame if you are using oil or else you can use an air fryer.
9. Fry the other pieces in batches. Keep them in a plate and freeze them for 3-4 hours. It is necessary to make them crispy. You can also keep them overnight.
10. In the meantime, let’s prepare the dip for our fries. Add 3 tbsp of tomato ketchup with 2 tbsp of plain Mayonnaise. Mix well. This dip enhances the taste of fries 10 times and I love making it every time.
11. Next, I’ll also make a special Masala for the fries. Mix 1 tsp of salt, Red chilli powder, and chaat masala.
12. After 4 hours, we will check the fries. To make them ready, We need to fry them on high flame. If you want to store them, you can put them into a zip lock bag and use them for 2 months.
13. Fry one batch of fries and pour some masala to coat them. Repeat the same process.
14. The tasty and crispy French fries are ready now.
Serve with tomato ketchup and the Dip. Enjoy.
